It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Payment Policy
Payment is due when services are rendered unless other arrangements are made. We are contracted with most Major Medical Insurance Companies, and we will file your claims for you. Since policies vary, we are happy to call your insurance company for you to verify your coverage and benefits for Chiropractic care.
MEET THE DOCTORS
Burt A. Chappell, D.C.
Dr. Burt Chappell has been practicing for over 37 years in Edmond, Oklahoma. He began his undergraduate education at Oklahoma Christian University, where he received an athletic scholarship to run track. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1980. He then entered Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, Texas, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He successfully completed his National and State Board examinations and is licensed in his home state of Oklahoma.
Dr. Chappell has also completed post-graduate training in Sports Medicine, Personal Injury, Workman's Compensation and Functional Medicine, as well as Acupuncture and Orthotic Fitting.
For 15 years, Dr. Chappell was the Team Chiropractic Physician for all sports at the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Oklahoma Chiropractic Association and has been a past officer and board member of several professional and civic organizations.
Daniel S. Holt, D.C.
Daniel S. Holt D.C. is a born and raised OKC resident who is passionate about helping his community live a healthy and happy lifestyle. He graduated Cum Laude from Cleveland University in Kansas City with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to Chiropractic school Dr. Holt received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma where he studied Health and Exercise Science. Using his degree from OU, Dr. Holt worked as a personal trainer for 9 years and realized he wanted to help people with their health on a deeper level. After completing Chiropractic school, he knew that he wanted to come back home to Oklahoma to serve the community.
Dr. Holt loves music and after his bachelor's degree studied at the Academy of Contemporary music in Bricktown, Oklahoma receiving an Associates of Applied Science in guitar performance. In his spare time Dr. Holt enjoys exercise, playing guitar, spending time with friends and family, and is always striving to learn more to be able to treat patients effectively.
Dr. Holt is extremely excited for the opportunity to serve at Spinal Care Associates with passion and compassion to restore health and function to the community he loves!
Phillip A. Nokes, D.O.
Dr. Phillip A. Nokes, D.O., graduated from Central State University in 1974 with a degree in Chemistry, also minoring in Physics and Biology. He excelled at Oklahoma State University Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class in 1978. Dr. Phill has been dedicated to primary care for over 44 years, obtaining his CAQ in Sports Medicine in 1996 while serving at Oklahoma State University's Student Health Center. He also worked as an assistant team physician for NCAA sports from 1994 to 2004. Following a tour in Kuwait and Iraq with the 30th Rainbow Division in 2004, he retired from the Oklahoma Army National Guard after 26 years of service.
Dr. Phill now brings his expertise to Spinal Care Associates in Edmond, offering a distinctive approach to manipulative medicine honed through years of practice and teaching Osteopathic Manual Medicine.
